Spudfest Sounds – A celebration of music, culture & community

Main Stage - Railway Precinct

The Main Stage at the Great Trentham Spudfest is set to kick off the festival with a heartfelt Welcome to Country from Djaara, honoring the traditional custodians of the land. This vibrant stage will host a diverse lineup of local talent throughout the day, offering a musical journey from Celtic tunes to old-time string bands, bluegrass rhythms, and traditional country duets. The energy will also be lifted by the lively sounds of Cajun and Creole music, creating a celebration of both heritage and community that’s sure to delight all festival-goers.

Don’t miss the roving environment - Kyneton Street Band, as they weave their way around town taking their tunes to the streets. Give them a cheer as they pass!

Community Stage - Town Square 

The much loved community stage will return on Saturday May 3rd in the Town Square Rotunda and showcase all the local group talent including the Singing Circle, Cool Country Ukes, Trentham and District Primary School Band and much more!
