Every Autumn, Trentham - 2025 winner of Australian's Top Tiny Tourism Town Award - comes alive with two days of delicious food, live music and artisan makers as we celebrate our people, our produce and the region.

DAY 1: STREET FAIR
(SATURDAY 1ST MAY 2027)

On Saturday, Trentham comes alive with our famous street fair held in the heart of town.

Explore four vibrant precincts packed with delicious spud-inspired food, fresh regional produce and local artisan makers, while live music and roaming entertainment set the soundtrack for the day.

With hands-on activities, games and family-friendly fun for kids and adults alike, Saturday is all about big energy, great flavours and classic Spudfest atmosphere.

DAY 2: DISCOVERY DAY
(SUNDAY 2ND MAY 2027)

Sunday is dedicated to the discovery of food, produce, and stories of our region.

Spend the day in Trentham Town, dance to music in Town Square, wander the streets on historical tours, visit our Traders or take part in Spudfeast.

Explore our region through a guided farm tour, take part in The Great Spud Scavenger Hunt or simply spend the day eating your way through spudtastic dishes across venues across the region.

What a beautiful way to wrap up Spudfest 2026 🥔✨

Sunday’s Discovery Day invited visitors to slow down, wander and truly experience the heart of our region - from guided farm tours, foodie trails and historical walks to open gardens, artist studios, live music and potato-inspired dishes across Trentham and beyond.

Visitors explored regional hubs throughout Daylesford, Lyonville, Blackwood, Woodend and more, uncovering the stories, flavours and community spirit that make this region so special.

Discovery Day was the perfect finale to a truly unforgettable weekend. 🍂 Until next year… keep digging into all the goodness our region has to offer 💛🥔

Spudfest 2026 absolutely smashed it and Trentham was bursting with potato-loving legends all weekend long!

Thousands of you hit the streets for Saturday’s Street Fair, soaking up the best of our incredible region, epic local eats, fresh produce, live music, dancing in the streets, amazing makers, country vibes and enough potatoes to feed a small nation 🍟😂

From sunrise coffees to sunset celebrations, the town was buzzing with community spirit, smiling faces and pure Spudfest magic ✨

To everyone who came along, volunteered, performed, traded, cooked, danced, supported and celebrated with us - THANK YOU for making 2026 our biggest and best year yet 💛

A little bit of rain has never stopped Trenthamites from having a good time — and besides, the skies are looking like they’ll clear anyway. So rug up, grab your umbrella just in case, and come discover the magic of Discovery Day at The Great Trentham Spudfest.

Today is all about slowing down, exploring the region, learning about our incredible town’s history, meeting the growers, makers and creatives behind our incredible towns, and eating your way through Spudfeast 🍴
